Police presence in Intercity area

Police say they are focusing on an area between Fort William Road and Memorial Avenue.

The Thunder Bay Police are present in the Thunder Centre area around noon on July 27. There are seven vehicles observed at the scene.

THUNDER BAY – Thunder Bay Police are warning the public about police presence in the Thunder Centre area.

Police say they are concentrating on the area between Fort William Road and Memorial Avenue.

Social media accounts of the situation claim someone was spotted in the river.

Police say no further information is available at this time.
