****************************

The Thunder Bay Police Service would like to remind the public we are unable to offer in-person Police Record Checks services during Ontario’s COVID-19 lockdown and Stay-at-Home order.

Please complete Police Records Check online at: https://www.thunderbaypolice.ca/services/criminal-records-search. This webpage provides all the instructions required to apply for the correct Police Records Check. Please read these instructions carefully before proceeding to the “Apply Online” at the bottom of this page.

There are other non-emergency services that do not require in-person visits to the TBPS headquarters. For more information about those services please visit: https://www.thunderbaypolice.ca/covid-19-pandemic-response.

To ensure the safety of our members, and the safety of the general public, we ask the public to avoid all non-essential visits to the TBPS headquarters. Anyone who is required to report to the police due to a release order or other judicial requirement must still attend the police station in person.

If you have any questions, or require further assistance, please contact the non-emergency police line at 684-1200.
