THUNDER BAY - The man found dead in the McIntyre River on Monday has been identified as 41-year-old city man.
Thunder Bay Police Service officers recovered the body of Stacey Lance Debungie out of the river between Russell and Carrick Streets after a passerby called 911 around 9:30 a.m.
A statement issued by the police service is classifying the death as non-criminal but is not providing details about cause of death or how he ended up in the river.
