Police release image of person of interest in THP variety break-in

Incident took place in the early morning hours of Nov. 17.

FORT WILLIAM FIRST NATION – The Fort William First Nation detachment of the Anishinabek Police Service is turning to the public to identify a break-and-enter suspect.

Police, in a release issued on Tuesday, say video surveillance footage shows a person of interest wanted for questioning in conjunction with a break-in at 5 a.m. on Sunday, Nov. 17, 2019 at THP Variety and Gas Bar on City Road.

Two suspects fled the store on foot through Fort William First Nation.

Investigators are asking the individual, or anyone who recognizes him or has information about the incident, to come forward.
