THUNDER BAY -- City police are investigating a stabbing on Monday morning and taken to the hospital by ambulance.
The Thunder Bay Police attended a residence on Secord Street just before 10 a.m. in regard to a 9-1-1 call.
Upon arrival officers located a 60-year-old man who had been assaulted and stabbed.
The investigation has revealed that two individuals known to the victim arrived at the house and pushed their way into the residence demanding money and assaulted the victim.
This robbery was interrupted by a tenant in the building who came to his aid.
The victim was taken to the hospital by ambulance for medical attention.
The investigation is ongoing.
