Police search hotel room, find Oxycodone and cash

Police discovered about $96,000 worth of Oxycodone pills and nearly $60,000 in cash after a search of a hotel room last week. OPP officers discovered the drugs and cash in two rooms at the Landmark Inn Wednesday.

OPP officers discovered the drugs and cash in two rooms at the Landmark Inn Wednesday. Drug enforcement officers arrested two men and a woman following the seizure of the drugs and cash.

A 20-year-old Thunder Bay man has been charged with proceeds of crime exceeding $5,000 and will appear in court on July 9.

The other two suspects, a 36-year-old man and a 32-year-old woman, both from Toronto, have been charged with trafficking.

Both of the Toronto-area suspects are being held in custody.
