VIDEO: Police searching for armed robbery suspect

City police are looking for a suspect after a convenience store armed robbery.

THUNDER BAY – City police are looking for a suspect in a Saturday afternoon armed robbery.

Thunder Bay Police Service officers responded to a report of a robbery at the Mac’s Store on Oliver Road and High Street at 4:20 p.m. Police say a man armed with a knife robbed the store.

No one was injured during the robbery.

Police say the man, in his 20’s to 30’s, was wearing a black and blue two tone jacket, a white hat, light blue jeans or grey jogging pants and black footwear.

The suspect was last seen running westbound on John Street from High Street.
