Police searching for attacker after assault sends man to hospital
Police say an 18-year-old man was attacked by a group of youths in the North Marks and Cumming Street area.
Officials with the Thunder Bay Police Service say the incident took place Tuesday night around 8:30 p.m. as the victim was walking.
As the group approached, one of them, described as a Caucasian man with a buzz cut, attacked him. The attacker wore a multi-coloured jacket with a grey hoodie at the time of the assault.
The victim was treated in the hospital and has since been released.
The search continues for the attackers and police say an investigation is ongoing.
