KENORA, Ont. - Police have provided an update on a male boater who was announced as missing on Lake of the Woods.
In a release issued Thursday, police say a 70-year old male from the United States fell into the lake and did not resurface.
Members of the Kenora Detachment of the OPP and the Marine and Trails Unit are investigating the east end of Lake of the Woods. The Underwater Search and Recovery Unit are on en route to assist.
