Gang shooting mistakenly targets innocent family

Police continue to appeal to the public for information regarding the Windsor Street shooting incident.

THUNDER BAY – City police are asking for the public’s assistance with the Windsor Street shooting incident early Monday morning.

According to a police release issued Tuesday, investigators believe this gang related shooting mistakenly affected an innocent family including the parents and three young children when multiple bullets struck the exterior and interior of their home.

Anyone with information about this incident or who may have witnessed suspicious activity or persons in the Windsor Street housing complex area between midnight and 2:00 a.m. on Monday morning is encouraged to contact the Thunder Bay Police Service at 684-1200.
