Thunder Bay Police Service Media Update
The Thunder Bay Police Service's Cyber Crime Unit began an investigation in December 2015 after identifying suspected child pornography images and videos on the internet. A preliminary investigation resulted in a search warrant being executed at a residence on Oriole Place on January 13, 2016.
The residence was searched items including a laptop, five external hard drive, flash drives, cellphone and a desktop computer with three hard drives were seized for further examination.
32 year old Christopher Bukovy was arrested and has been charged with Possession of Child Pornography and Make Available Child Pornography.
He appeared in court and has been released with a future court date.
