Police charged a 31-year-old-man with carrying thousands of dollars’ worth of cocaine.
Thunder Bay Police Service officers along with Anishinabek Police Service charged the 31-year-old Monday. Police say that the man and a 28-year-old-woman were on a Greyhound Bus that stopped at Robin’s Donuts near Hodder Avenue and Arundel Street around 10 p.m.
Police say the man resisted officers during the arrest process and was taken to the ground to be handcuffed.
Police seized more than 240 grams of cocaine. Police estimate the street value to be around $24,000.
The man is being held in custody and made his first court appearance Tuesday.
The woman has been released unconditionally.
