THUNDER BAY -- The Thunder Bay Police Service has declined to provide the news media with any updates on its investigation into a sudden death.
Police were called about 10 a.m. on Monday to a property in the 400 block of North Cumberland Street.
On Tuesday afternoon, a small building at the rear of a residence remained cordoned off and officers were stationed nearby, keeping the scene secure.
In response to a request for more information about the case, a police spokesperson would only say that "the investigation is ongoing," and that police would not be doing any media interviews at this time.
Police have not disclosed the gender or age of the deceased individual, nor have they indicated yet whether it is a criminal matter.
