THUNDER BAY - Police are hopeful the results of a post-mortem examination will confirm the identity of a man whose body was discovered in Kaminisitquia River on the weekend.
The body of a man believed to be in his 40s or 50s was pulled from the River on Saturday morning near Dock Street, adjacent to the Kam River Heritage Park, after being discovered by a passerby.

In effort to identify the man, police released images of the man’s clothing, including a T-shirt with the word ‘Achieve’ written across the chest and MOZO brand shoes, which are known to be worn by people in the culinary industry.
