CHAPPLE TOWNSHIP, Ont. – Police are thanking the public for helping to locate a group of missing youth from a group care home in Chapple Township, about 40 kilometres west of Fort Frances.
The Rainy River District OPP received a call on Thursday regarding three youth missing in a wooded area off Highway 615 in Chapple Township, the force said in a statement.
Officers conducted a search of the area with assistance from the Northwest Region Emergency Response Team and Northwest Region Canine unit.
The youth were located safe and returned to the group care home on Friday, police reported.
