Police vehicle rammed by suspect attempting to flee

An investigation into drug trafficking leads to four arrests, $9,000 in cocaine seized.

THUNDER BAY - A Thunder Bay man faces charges of dangerous driving after crashing into a police vehicle following a drug investigation in the Northwood area.

On Thursday, the Thunder Bay Police Service Drug and Guns and Gang unit was conducting an investigation into a drug trafficking complaint in the 2800 block of Redwood Ave.

During the investigation, two of the accused attempted to leave in a vehicle but were stopped by police. The driver, 40-year-old Daniel Hall of Thunder Bay, rammed an unmarked police vehicle while trying to escape.

There were no injuries resulting from the incident and Hall has been charged with one count of dangerous driving. In addition, 59-year-old David Hladysh, 32-year-old Mike Fagan, and 55-year-old Roxanne McKinnon, all of Thunder Bay, have been charged with trafficking.

Police seized approximately $9,000 in cocaine and crack cocaine. All suspects have been remanded into custody.
