THUNDER Bay – Motorists are being warned to avoid a section of Arthur Street on Saturday while repairs are made to the sanitary collection system in front of Belluz Realty.

City officials on Friday said the Arthur Street East will be closed to westbound traffic between Ford and Edward streets while the work is completed, though local traffic will still have access.

Eastbound traffic will be open to just one lane from Edward Street for approximately 200 metres.

Construction is expected to get under way at about 7 a.m. and last a little over 24 hours.

Use caution, reduce speeds and obey signage, a city release requests.
