THUNDER BAY - A post-mortem has been completed on the 28-year-old woman who died after being found in medical distress in the city's Intercity area on Tuesday.
The Thunder Bay Police Service issued a media release late Wednesday afternoon announcing the autopsy had been conducted in Toronto.
The woman was found around 8 a.m. Tuesday morning on the path along the CN train trestle that spans the Neebing-Mcintyre Floodway and died later in hospital. Officers have now released the scene.
The case is continuing as a coroner's investigation with police providing assistance if necessary.
