There appears to be interest in the idled Terrace Bay Pulp.
Non-disclosure agreements have been signed and submitted by potential purchasers.
According to documents, the monitor Ernst and Young is reviewing letters of intent from parties interested in buying the mill.
The terms of the sale process say it must be completed by April 16.
Meanwhile, the township is waiting on a plan to come forward on the sale of non-mill assets including a nine-hole golf course, undeveloped lakefront property and townhouses in the community.
Terrace Bay Pulp currently owes the township $571,000 in back taxes.
