THUNDER BAY -- Thunder Bay Hydro customers experienced a large power outage affecting both the north side and Intercity areas of the city, as well as several surrounding communities serviced by Hydro One.

According to the utility's Twitter feed, the issue is a loss of electrical supply at the main feeder station. Between 5,000 and 10,000 customers are affected.

The power has since been restored to all customers, but Thunder Bay Hydro officials say anyone is still in the dark, to phone 343-1002.
