Power outage hits city's south side

Synergy North says estimated time of power restoration is 11 p.m.

THUNDER BAY -- Synergy North says customers in some areas of Thunder Bay's south side may be without power for at least another 90 minutes.

The electricity provider said crews are patrolling the area trying to determine the cause of a power outage in the Arthur, Walsh, Franklin and Selkirk streets area.

Estimated time of return on Thursday night is 11 p.m.

No cause for the outage was given.
