THUNDER BAY -- Synergy North says between 500 and 1,000 customers are without power, a situation blamed on equipment failure.
Power is expected to be restored by 11 p.m.
The outage affects a swath of Thunder Bay's south side, from Cumming Street to Christina Avenue, to the east of Selkirk Street. Several blocks north and south of Arthur Street are also affected.
