THUNDER BAY — Thunder Bay Ventures will disburse an additional 100 personal protective equipment and sanitizer care packages to small businesses in the city.

TBV distributed a similar number of care bundles to the business community in July.

In an announcement Monday, it said the first 100 small business owners who like, share and message TBV on Facebook (@TBayVentures) will receive a free PPE package.

It said it's trying to help entrepreneurs with the increased operating costs associated with COVID-19, and wants to help as many of them as possible operate safely within public health guidelines.

Priority for the second disbursement will be given to businesses that didn't receive PPE packages in July.

More information is available on TBV's Facebook page.

Thunder Bay Ventures is the local Community Futures Development Corporation, funded by the federal government.
