THUNDER BAY – The waterfront skating rink is now open for the season.
City officials are encouraging residents to come to the waterfront and enjoy the rink along with many other winter activities and amenities available this season.
“The skating rink is now open for all to enjoy,” said Carlee Hakenson, Events and Waterfront Services Developer.
“I encourage the community to come down to Prince Arthur’s Landing with their families and friends for fun-filled days on the waterfront this winter season!”
Along with the skating rink, there are many other activities to participate in at the waterfront this winter including programs at the Baggage Building Arts Centre, Winter FunDay activities every Sunday from Dec. 22 to March 8 and SnowDay on the Waterfront, which will take place on Feb. 16 and 17.
