City of Thunder Bay media release
THUNDER BAY – The Waterfront splash pad at Prince Arthur’s Landing officially opens for the season in Marina Park on Friday.
The City of Thunder Bay encourages residents to come down to the waterfront on hot sunny days to cool off and enjoy the many events, activities and facilities available to the public during the summer months.
“With the temperatures starting to heat up, the splash pad is a great amenity for residents and visitors to enjoy throughout the summer,” said Carlee Hakenson, Events and Waterfront Services Developer.
The Waterfront Splash Pad and Water Garden Pavilion are open daily from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.
For more information about the splash pad, call the Water Garden Pavilion at 684-2080.
