The province has announced its choice to design, build, finance and maintain Thunder Bay's new consolidated courthouse.
After what they say was an extensive evaluation process, the Ministry of the Attorney General and Infrastructure Ontario have settled on a group called Plenary Justice for the task.
Plenary Justice is a consortium of companies comprised of Plenary Group, Bird Design - Build Limited, Johnson Controls LP, Adamson Associates Architects, Ricci Green Associates and TD Securities.
Negotiation are now underway with the province on a final contract.
Construction on the new 15-courtroom complex is expected to begin next spring.
