City of Thunder Bay media release
Thunder Bay Animal Services will be hosting a pet Chip-a-thon at the City Animal Services Centre, 882 Alloy Place on Saturday, April 1, from 10 am to 1 pm.
Micro chipping is a safe, foolproof way to permanently identify a pet’s owner and address, and can save your animal’s life. The cost is only $35 for the first pet and $30 for each additional pet.
Appointments are required and full payment is necessary and must be made prior to April 1. (Mastercard, Visa, direct debit or cash is accepted). Space is limited. Contact the Animal Services Centre at 684-2156 to book an appointment today!
If a pet qualifies for a life-time license, pet owners are asked to provide a veterinary certificate as proof the animal has been spayed or neutered to obtain their license.
