City of Thunder Bay release
THUNDER BAY -- Looking for a fun, rockin’ way to start Christmas break with the family? Come out and enjoy an evening of skating at the Fort William Gardens.
The Shaw Rockin’ Santa Skate in support of PRO Kids will be held on Dec. 22 from 7 to 9 p.m.
Come out and skate with the Shaw Bear, Thunder Wolves’ mascot Wolfie and Santa! There will also be a beginners skating area, face painting by OKC, prizes, music and a Chuck-a-Duck game.
Admission is $2 per person, proceeds in support of PRO Kids. Helmets are mandatory for children 12 years and under and recommended for all skaters.
PRO Kids is a registered charity that makes recreation opportunities accessible to Thunder Bay children and youth who are otherwise unable to afford program fees.
