Thunder Bay's Public Libraries cater to more than 40,000 people a year and on Thursday evening library officials hope to hear feedback from some of those users.
The Waverly Resource Library and Mary J.L. Black Library will be hosting a pair of community open houses to discuss the 2013 to 2016 strategic plan.
Chief librarian John Pateman says he hopes to see a large turnout. Pateman believes it's important that they speak to the public directly about the things they want to see.
Discussion will revolve around topics like the structure of the buildings, current stock of materials, library hours and programming.
Pateman says he's pleased with the direction the library is heading in.
The Waverley Resource Library open house will run from 4 until 5 p.m. on Thursday.
The Mary J.L. Black open house will run from 7 until 8 p.m.
