THUNDER BAY -- The public still has time to comment on the city's plan to make city hall the south side's permanent bus terminal.
On Thursday afternoon the city hosted its final drop in for the public to learn about the plan.
Transit services manager Brad Loroff said despite the warp up, information will still be up on the city's website and phone calls and emails are welcome.
"The public still certainly has time to provide input," he said.
"Our overall goal is just to keep hearing what people are saying."
Once all of the public comments are compiled Loroff said he's hoping to head back to council be the end of the year.
Administration has met with concerned neighbours to try and learn more about how the area has been impacted since transit moved in several years ago.
"A lot of what we've heard is not so much with respect to transit issues but more with respect to things that are happening in the neigbourhood," Loroff said.
That mainly includes police issues. Loroff said one of the takeaways from the public input is that there needs to be more dialogue between transit and police.
