THUNDER BAY — A tech and gaming event is set to make a comeback to the city.

The city's Quest: Tech and Gaming event has been on hiatus for the past two years, but this year it will be open at the Fort William Gardens, starting at 4 p.m. Friday.

Louisa Costanzo, the city's supervisor of cultural development, community programming and events, has called this the event's "triumphant return" and has noted there really is something for everyone.

Ontario Power Generation formally presents QUEST and will be bringing their robotic dog "Spot" to the Gardens.

While it's a free event, festivities will be limited to 25 participants on a first come first serve basis but will be repeated from Friday to Saturday for those who missed out. The Saturday session will run from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Partnering with Science North, attendees can enjoy some explosive and bubbly science shows, as well as watch participants build robots with sensors and battle each other.
