FORT FRANCES — Two Fort Frances individuals have been charged with drug-related offences following the search of a vehicle more than a week ago.
Officers with the Rainy River District OPP were patrolling after 3:30 a.m. on Dec. 21, when they noticed a suspicious vehicle and an abandoned property, according to a police news release. A search of the vehicle led police to find several illegal items.
Police arrested April Bruyere, 41, and Richard Ronmark, 42, of Fort Frances with two counts of possession of a schedule one substance for the purpose of trafficking and one count of possession of proceeds of property obtained by crime.
Both individuals will appear in court on Jan. 13, 2021, at 9:30 a.m. to respond to the charges.
