RED LAKE, Ont., — A 64-year-old Red Lake man is facing drug trafficking charges following an investigation by Ontario Provincial Police on Wednesday.
Members of the OPP from the Kenora and Red Lake detachment conducted a drug investigation on Feb. 10 where a quantity of cocaine and cash were seized by officers.
As a result, Michael Desmeules was charged with one count of possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking and possession of proceeds of property obtained by crime under $5,000.
He was released by way of an undertaking and is scheduled to appear in court next on March 18.
