RED LAKE, Ont. -- A 35-year-old Red Lake area man is facing multiple child pornography charges after provincial police executed a search warrant earlier this week.
In a provincial police media release issued Friday, police said members of the OPP's child sex exploitation unit, digital forensics unit and the Red Lake detachment conducted a lengthy internet investigation, leading to the search warrant on Wednesday.
Officers seized a number of computer devices from the residence, which is located within the municipality of Red Lake.
Police charged the suspect with two counts of making child pornography available, one count of possession of child pornography and two counts of accessing child pornography.
The accused remains in custody following a bail hearing.
