RED LAKE – Officers of the Red Lake Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have charged an adult female driver with impaired driving on October 31, 2015 at 1:57 a.m.
During routine patrol, officers stopped a 2014 motor vehicle on Forestry road in Red Lake for a minor traffic violation. As officers were speaking with the driver they had a suspicion of alcohol. The driver was administered an Approved Screening Device (ASD). Failing the roadside device the driver was arrested and transported to the Red Lake Detachment for tests.
The 29-year-old Red Lake woman is charged with Impaired Operation of a Motor Vehicle. She will appear in a Red Lake court on Dec. 10.
