THUNDER BAY -- A small crowd gathered at city hall Thursday morning to kick off the 2015 poppy campaign.
City Coun. Larry Hebert was on hand for the flag raising ceremony before being presented with the first poppy by Joan Cameron, the Chair of the Poppy Fund.
Poppies will be available throughout the city beginning Friday.
The Port Arthur Legion Branch will kick off its poppy campaign at 11 a.m. Friday at the Prince Arthur Hotel.
