FORT FRANCES, Ont. -- Resolute Forest Products has been fined $55,000 after a worker was injured at its Fort Frances mill in 2012.

The worker had been assisting in moving stack roll for a paper machine when it moved resulting in a crushed wrist and arm.

An investigation by Ontario's Ministry of Labour concluded the company failed to make sure moving the roll was safe.

The company pleaded guilty, which led to the fine being handed down.
