THUNDER BAY -- A respiratory illness outbreak at Lakehead Manor has prompted health officials to cancel all admissions, transfers and discharges until further notice.

Visitors have been restricted to family members and caregivers only.

The Thunder Bay District Health Unit issued a reminder to the public not to visit hospitals and long-term care facilities when feeling unwell to avoid spreading infections to the most vulnerable, seniors and young infants and children.
