The eastbound lane on Oliver Road and the southbound lane on Golf Links Road will be closed overnight on Thursday while to allow for water-main work to take place.
The closure will only affect the immediate area of the intersection of the two roads and should continue into the morning on Friday.
The city is asking motorists to use caution and obey posted signage.
