THUNDER BAY -- The city is reminding the public of a scheduled road closure set for Tuesday evening.
In a news release issued by the City of Thunder Bay Tuesday morning, city officials advise that road work will lead to the closure of a stretch of Golf Links Road between Oliver and Donald Roads
The two hour closure will run from 8:30 to 10:30 p.m. Tuesday Oct. 14.
The closure is taking place at the request of Shaw Cable, which has aerial fibre cable that runs above Golf LInks Road. The cable is set to be moved to ducts that will run under the road surface.
The affected section of Golf Links Road will be closed to all through traffic. residents who need to access the Days Inn hotel are asked to utilize the Campus Hill entrance on Oliver Road during the closure period.
Those travelling in the area during the closure are asked to use extra caution.
