NOTICE OF TEMPORARY HIGHWAY WORK
Highway 17A - Kenora
THUNDER BAY — The Ministry of Transportation advises the motoring public that Highway 17A will be intermittently closed to traffic during the hours from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. (CT) starting on Tuesday, October 20 to Thursday, October 22. The motoring public can expect up to 30 minute delays.
These temporary closures are required to ensure the safety of road users and workers while work is being completed to replace overhead sign structures.
Traffic will be controlled by flagging operations. We apologize for the inconvenience and urge motorists to schedule their travel to minimize any delays.
Motorists are reminded to obey and follow all traffic signage and flag persons for the safety of both workers and drivers.
