City police are looking for the public’s help to locate a robbery suspect.
Thunder Bay Police Service officers are investigating reports of a robbery at Barb’s Laundromat, located at 300 May Street.
The incident took place just before 6:30 p.m. Thursday. Police say a man armed with a syringe entered the laundromat and demanded money. The employee complied with the man’s request and the suspect fled the scene.
Police say they are looking for an Aboriginal man standing about six-feet-tall and weighing about 210 pounds.
The suspect wore a white baseball cap, black sunglasses with a white ‘O’ on the arms, a black zip up jacket, black T-shirt with white writing across the chest, dark-coloured shorts and black and white skateboard style shoes.
The man also had a dark green or grey backpack on.
