Police are investigating the attempted robbery of a coffee shop on the city’s southside.
Officials with the Thunder Bay Police Service say a man entered the Robin's Donuts at 300 May Street South just before 4 a.m. Wednesday.
The man was armed with a knife and demanded money, but fled the donut shop after noticing that an alarm had been triggered.
The suspect is described as an Aboriginal man between the ages of 30 and 40 years old. The suspect wore a black hooded sweater at the time of the robbery attempt.
No one was injured as a result of this incident.
