Video showing the alleged attempted robbery of the Tokyo House has been posted online.
The video, which has no audio, was posted by the Youtube user liehui zhou. The minute-long video shows the would-be robber attempt to reach into the open cash register.
A scuffle follows, which ends when the suspect flees out of view of the security tape.

Police are investigating the attempted robbery of the Arthur Street eatery. The incident took place Sunday night.
Police say the suspect, described as a Caucasian male with a thin build wearing a dark, long-sleeve shirt and pants demanded cash from Tokyo House staff and fled the scene after restaurant employees unsuccessfully attempted to subdue him.
The suspect, who witnesses placed in his late 20s, was last seen headed northbound through the parking lot toward Donald Street.
No one was injured in the incident.
A comment posted by the video’s uploader offers praise for the restaurant staff and asks for help locating the suspect.
“Tokyo House Thunder Bay Robbery,The [sic] bravest waiters and cashiers,” writes liehui zhou.
“A robber came to Tokyo House pretending to ask for change with a $20 bills [sic], as soon as the bravest cashier open … the cashier closed the cash registers right away and? yelled "No No" two staffs [sic] went to help and managed to grab the robber away from the cash register, the robber escaped, please help identify the robber.”
