THUNDER BAY — A resident of Oliver-Paipoonge will appear in court in August on charges related to a single-vehicle collision that occurred early Saturday morning.
Thunder Bay OPP and Superior North EMS paramedics were sent to a collision site on Highway 11/17 near Poleline Road just before 1:00 a.m.
They found an overturned sedan in the north ditch.
The driver, who was not hurt, was arrested and taken to the detachment for a breathalyzer test.
As a result, the 63-year-old man was charged with impaired operation of a motor vehicle and with operating a motor vehicle with a blood alcohol level over .08.
