THUNDER BAY – A 64-year-old man has been charged with impaired driving after rolling his truck on Highway 588.
Provincial police officers were called to the single-vehicle crash in Lybster Township around 9 p.m., where they found a truck that was upside down on its roof.
The driver was taken to hospital by air ambulance with injuries that are described as not life threatening. The subsequent investigation determined he had been drinking alcohol.
The man, from Lybster Township, has been charged with two impaired driving counts and has a July court date. He has been released from hospital.
The charges have not been proven in court.
