The end is near for a three-year-old theft ring case in Thunder Bay.

Louis Rosin, 46, was arrested in January 2009, and was facing several stolen property, drug, and weapons charges.

In the courtroom Tuesday, Rosin pleaded guilty to possession of Oxycodone for the purpose of trafficking, and possession of stolen property.

Police originally valued the property at about $150,000, but Rosin's lawyer Devin Bains has disputed that and said much of the property was not stolen.

Rosin was in prison from January 2009 to October 2010, and the court is counting that as 20 months served.

Bains is recommending Rosin be given a four-month sentence counted as time already served, while the Crown is pushing for six to nine months.

Rosin will appear in court on Friday for sentencing.
