THUNDER BAY -- Five rural schools are closed because of stormy winter weather, and all rural bus routes have been cancelled for the day.
Crestview, Gorham & Ware, Valley Central, Whitefish Valley and Kakabeka Falls public schools will not be open on Wednesday.
Nor'Westerview, Five Mile and McKenzie public schools are open, but there will be no bus service and it's up to parents to get students to the classroom.
All other public, Catholic and French Catholic schools are open.
