A group of young people from the Sachigo Lake First Nation are walking to Thunder Bay to support a Student Living Centre for Dennis Franklin Cromarty high school.
Ten youth began their relay walk this morning, and will travel nearly 1,000 kilometres before arriving in Thunder Bay on April 22.
They're raising money to help make the DFC Living Centre a reality.
The $15-million project is being spearheaded by the Wasaya Group, and would be located at Confederation College.
