THUNDER BAY - The Salvation Army is on track to meet their local Christmas campaign goal.
The organization issued a statement Tuesday afternoon announcing they have raised nearly $68,000 to this point in their kettle campaign with about two weeks until Christmas Eve.
The Salvation Army has a goal of $180,000.
The kettle campaign raises funds for the organization's food bank and soup van, among other programs.
Kettles are set up at a number of locations across the city and donations can also be made online.
